Is It Funny?: Yes. The movie keeps you entertained with non-stop chuckle-action though with few laugh-out-loud moments. But if you are a fan of the TV series than you will probably find the movie hilarious. The movie is full of all your favorite Simpsons characters like the Simpsons family, Mr.Burns, Moe, Mr. Burns, and Apu along with Russ Cargill of the EPA and a cameo by Tom Hanks. Of course, Arnold Schwarzenegger being the President of the United States is bound to get some laughs even though he isn’t actually voiced by the real Governor of California.

Do You Have to Be a Fan of the Series?: Not really. In the movie there are no references to the show though it will be full of familiar faces. The characters act as they always do with Homer strangling Bart, Ned being religious, and Maggie being mute. There are no inside jokes and only witty up-to-date humor that anyone should find funny. Though being a fan, will make it many times funnier, the movie will appeal to almost anyone.

Should You Pay to See It?:  Of course. Though for some the movie may not seem theater-worthy, now that it has reached DVD it is easily affordable for a low price and for as many people as can gather around your T.V. or computer. The Simpsons movie is perfect for a rental or a buy and with its memorable, witty humor…
