Harrison Ford, Shia LaBeouf, Karen Allen, Cate Blanchett, & Ray Winstone
The Basics :
Indiana Jones has once again found his way into an exciting adventure. Playing the role of the annoying kid sidekick, Shia LaBeouf helps Indy along his journey to return the magical alien crystal skull to the hidden city of Eldorado. There are of course many conflicts along the way such as run-ins with a power hungry Russian commander and an old friend turned traitor. An older Indy is saving the day once again.
What’s the Deal? :
Of course there is lots of action, excitement, and ridiculous stunts only Indy could pull off. Expect some flash back references to the old movies, “Why does it always have to be snakes”. The only knock I have on this movie would be that Harrison isn’t getting any younger. It almost seems like he should be walking around with a cane.
What to look for :
I don’t want to spoil the ending, but look for maybe a sneak peak at the future when just for a second it seems that Shia LaBeouf’s character might be getting passed the torch… or the hat. Could there be yet another sequel to this series with Shia LaBeouf as the new star, just a thought.
You’ll Love, or you’ll hate…
The plot, Indiana Jones mixed with aliens? The traditional Indy fan might not like this factor of the movie. The plot might be too futuristic for the Indiana Jones old timers. However, new young fans could very well enjoy this futuristic twist.
