Boy Scout Troop 475 constructed a safety fence along a crumbeling sea wall behind the Nature Center at Honeymoon Island State Park.

Tarpon Springs Fundamental Elementary School Club SAVE held a book drive and constructed bookshelves that were delivered to Grace House in early May.

Clearwater's youth initative GotGov! planed a youth summit for 100 high school students entitled "Idea 2 Action" held at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort.


Interested in applying for a community service grant?

Here’s what you have to do:

-Youth and youth-led groups, such as community organizations, religious communities, schools, classrooms, and other non-profit organizations are encouraged to apply

-The project must be planned, developed, and implemented by youth, with adults serving as support

-Grant requests can be up to $350.00 but the budget of the project itself may exceed that limit

-Projects must benefit the residents of Pinellas County and be implemented in Pinellas County
